MEET THE CHEFS

Two married private chefs, Lily Rose & Krem.


Lily is from the island, Krem has been on MV since 2021.
We met at the MV Bank in Vineyard Haven.

Lily loves to grow potatoes, knows where to find the pretties wild garnishes and how to make a killer martini. Krem brings 15 years of culinary experience and has close relationships with many farmers and fishermen on Martha’s Vineyard. When we say we use mainly local ingredients, we really mean it - starting with the salt we make ourselves from the MV ocean.

Together, we create hyper-local and seasonal food. We cook and create with love for one another, what we do and the ingredients we get to work with.

“I had the true pleasure of having Krem and Lily cater my 50th birthday party, a seated dinner for 25 people. From the outset, Krem was collaborative and receptive to menu ideas, accommodating my preferences and one of our guest’s nut allergies. The end result was outstanding. Their food is creative and without being complicated, with the perfect balance of savory, sweet and acid; the steak and halibut were cooked to perfect temperature –
a challenging feat serving so many people at once. I am still dreaming about the roasted Japanese sweet potatoes with brown butter and key lime dressing. “Krem and their partner, Lily, did a fabulous job catering a vegan dinner for four at my home on Martha’s Vineyard.  Using fresh ingredients gathered (literally) on the Vineyard, Krem prepared a unique dinner with mostly a mushroom base, but incorporating unique herbs to provide an entirely new flavor and texture.  We provided the wine, but the night began with a mock cocktail, again flavors that my guests and I had not tasted before.  We ended the night with a dark chocolate dessert with a light fruity sauce.  Krem spent most of the time cooking and Lily serving and meeting our beverage needs.  At the end of the evening, Krem and Lily spent time with us sharing the experience of designing the menu (the actual paper menu was a work of art) and their joy in bringing fresh, healthy food to our table. I highly recommend Krem and Lily as caterers providing a wonderful overall experience.” Lucille Zanghi, Miami and Martha’s Vineyard
